Coco Sharp Font Family

Coco Sharp Font Family is the latest evolution of the Coco typographic project, designed by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini for Zetafonts, with contributions from Francesco Canovaro and Andrea Tartarelli. Influenced by vernacular grotesques sign-painting and modernist ideals-and inspired by the timeless elegance of Coco Chanel-Coco Sharp is built on a classic geometric sans skeleton but incorporates humanist proportions and subtle visual corrections to key letters, resulting in a warmer and subtly vintage texture both in print and on screen. Unlike its predecessors (Coco Gothic and Cocogoose), Coco Sharp features sharper corners for enhanced display and logo capabilities, while offering a wide range of alternate letterforms to express various historical moods, from elegant to quirky. The family is notable for its variable x-height, with five graded sub-families and a variable font option, allowing designers to fine-tune readability and space usage. With over 60 weights, extensive OpenType features, and support for more than 200 languages, Coco Sharp Font Family is a versatile workhorse for both text and display applications.
